‘Integrations.js’ is a free, open source library that anyone can use to add popular integrations to your Site. You save loads of engineering hours by not having to build, test & implement new code each time. Currently, integrations are available for Google Sheets, Trello & Clearbit, but more are planned.
The 3 integration types supported by Integrations.js are:
- Exports – lets you export data from your site into reporting tools. Currently Google Sheets is supported.
- Workflows – you can trigger workflows in 3rd party products without having to leave your Site. At this time this integration works with the Trello project management & collaboration platform for things like creating a Trello card using data from your page.
- Views – access profile information about people mentioned on your Site. Currently you can use it with Clearbit.
Getting started is easy, you sign up here for free & visit the Integrations.js dashboard & choose from 1 of the 3 available types. You’re then given access to the appropriate JavaScript code snippet from the library & just copy & paste into your Site, in the spot you want your integration to happen.
You’ll, of course need the proper API token in your account & you’re set to go. With this level of integration your users won’t have to bounce back & forth between products to get work done & you’ll be doing you users a favor by integrating their favorite services & your own.
Integrations.js is a service that’s been developed by California, USA-based Blockspring & is available for free on GitHub here.
Blockspring is known for Blockspring Scripts, which is also free & makes it easy to build add-ons for your favorite apps using a hosted Python scripts editor. It’s inspired by Google Apps Script, but works with a long list of of non-Google products. The company has also developed Spreadsheet plugins for Google Sheets & Excel (& others) that lets you access hundreds of connectors & build your own.
