Using multiple Gmail accounts & toggling between them is becoming commonplace these days, but it can get cumbersome if you need to do it often. ‘Shift’ is built to make it easy & fast for personal & business Googlers to navigate between Mail, Calendar & Drive.

Shift is designed to provide the user with an improved Gmail experience, by putting all his accounts in 1 place, where you can easily navigate across them. The idea is to improve the productivity of people who are constantly checking email, Calendar & Drive accounts, by making this task much easier than using the standard Google interface. Shift also supports Outlook accounts as well.

The Shift product page is like keeping your room clean. This is accomplished by helping you to de-clutter your desktop, so you don’t have to keep open a bunch of different browser tabs, or log in & out of accounts constantly.

Shift has support for native desktop notifications on the major desktop platforms – Windows, Mac & Linux, & is grouped by account & independent of the browser used. With these notifications you get a real time vision of what’s going on in your Inboxes. You can even customize your settings so that you get only the reminders you actually need.

Shift is under development by Victoria, BC, Canada-based Redbrick Technologies, whose CEO is Tobyn Sowden. Shift is free for the ‘Basic’ package, & then there are the ‘Paid’ versions.
