Coming soon: Russia’s answer to Android & iOS

So it’s true. Rumors that Russia was contemplating an alternate to Android & iOS were confirmed when the country’s minister of Communications Nikolai Nikiforo spoke of plans to the effect. The country plans to build the alternate on open source mobile platform Sailfish. Though Sailfish is from Finland, its open source nature would allow for customized software.
