Designing sitemaps just entered a whole new realm. ‘SiteMap’ is a tool that helps you create sitemaps & User Interface (UI) flows. It’s a service by MockFlow, an Online design suite that provides Web services for creative designers & usability engineers.
Designing UI flows & maps can be cumbersome. However, with this new startup, you will have a better user experience to build, collaborate & share your information architecture for your apps & Sites.
The platform has incorporated modern themes which will help you plan not only pleasing to the eye design but will also allow you instantly to change the look & feel of your sitemap.
Also, the tool provides you with some built-in node thumbnails. These thumbnails are used for both, Web & mobile projects. They help in showing the visual representation of your UI flows. Also, the service allows you to create your own custom thumbnails that best suit your project.
After creating your sitemap & UI flow, the tool gives you 3 exporting options:
- You can export to Hi-Res PNG image
- You can export to search engine compatible sitemapXML format
- Finally, you can export your designs to MS Excel
Like almost all other MockFlow services, another feature that stands out for SiteMap is sharing. You will be able your design projects with reviewers & co-editors privately as well as publicly by generating a project link.
To ensure that planning for your projects goes smoothly especially based on team perspective, SiteMap has made sure each node/page in the sitemap comes with features like comments, attachments, status, notification & notes.
To access this tool, you simply need to create an account on the platform & choose your pricing plan. If you are already a MockFlow user with premium or team pack package, then the developers will add this tool to your package for free. You will also be able to create & share unlimited sitemaps with extra charges.
SiteMaps was launched on July 26, 2016. Produle Systems LTD offers this service under MockFlow’s platform.
