Bing replaces Google in Microsoft-AOL advertising deal

1st it lost Mozilla to Yahoo Search, now it’s lost another major deal. Microsoft’s just announced it was handing over parts of its display advertising business to AOL.
AOL was recently acquired by Verizon. As part of the deal, AOL will make Bing its default search engine instead of Google for the next decade. The change will take place January 2016.
Google had lost its partnership with Mozilla to Yahoo earlier this year, causing its largest drop in search marketshare since 2009.
