Automated computer talking app ‘Botbird’ just got upgraded

metabirdsIn today’s world, people talk to “someone” within their smartphones (like virtual assistant Siri, etc). But have you every spoken to your computer in such a way? Japanese company Metabirds Co., Ltd. has announced that it had upgraded its software application, ‘Botbird’, which enabled people to talk to computers in real time.

The Online app ‘Botbird’, an automated computer talking app, responded to users as soon as they asked it a question.

The developer said in a written statement that in relation to recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), many services had been created in the past few years. Metabirds Co. had been developing their simplified AI conversation system to be used easily on smartphones, with focus on emotional response features. These guys are still continuing to develop their application to enable people to “talk”. Botbird is also available as an Android & iOS app. Over 2 million conversations occur every month by means of this application, while more than 250 million conversations have been completed in total. ‘Botbird’ has more than 200,000 variations for their conversations so far.

Metabirds said it had upgraded the application ‘Botbird’ in order to appeal to everyone.

Its features include: Make your own favorite room, & customize & converse with your favorite Bot. After customizing a Bot, various option were available such as, connecting to your Twitter & Facebook accounts to send responses, setting up time & date specific conversations, & even a memory feature that remembered conversations with people you liked & disliked talking to, allowing for more emotional response settings.

In the future, Metabirds Co., Ltd planned to connect its simplified AI services with other intelligent services, hoping to add even more varied expressions.

Furthermore, by means of an API Metabirds Co., Ltd. could also provide a privately available automated conversation feature to businesses with apps & Online services.

As people were spending more time on the Internet nowadays, Metabirds said it was launching apps that engaged & provided people with a “more convenient & fuller Online life.”
