Changing How Smartphones Are Used
To encourage more developers to create AR apps, Apple recently released ARKit, which makes it easy for both individuals & organizations to take advantage of AR technology. ARKit works by essentially superimposing a virtual “world” on top of the real one displayed through your phone’s camera.
This means more & more upcoming native Android app development & other mobile app advancements will allow users to meld the real world with the virtual via their mobile devices. Fixing a car? Point your phone at the problem area, & an app can show you what to do next. Trying to navigate a new city? Your mapping program will display a path right on the screen that you can follow to your destination.
