Attn gamers. Heard of streamed talk show ‘Live with YouTube Gaming’?

Youtube gamingIt was on Sept. 29 this year that Geoff Keighley, the famous gaming personality, YouTube influencer & host of the YouTube Live at E3 & The Game Awards started producing & hosting Live with YouTube Gaming.

It’s a weekly talk show that is “a big live experience that celebrates the industry & brings together game creators, top YouTube influencers & also a lot of mainstream culture.”

Keighley is hosting this hour-long show on Thursday nights @ 8pm ET / 5pm PT, ‘live’ on ‘gameslice’ (GSTV) & features such gaming world legends as iJustine, UnboxTherapy, iHasCupQuake, MatPat, Nadeshot…

The format is based on a talk show, with breaking news, trailers, exclusive previews of new video games, gameplay footage of ‘live’ game play by well-known personalities, and coverage of pro e-sport competitions. To round it all off, big-name music industry stars perform game-inspired numbers.

According to the creators, the show is ‘Made by gamers for gamers.’ They claim that it’s an opportunity for gamers to discover what’s new & next on gaming. YouTube, they say, is a “perfect platform” for a show like this, because gaming fans from all over the world can interact with the show in real time.

The show can address the core gamer but can also go much broader by uniting gamers globally around a show like this. It’s also part of YouTube’s new offering: ‘Primetime With YouTube Gaming,’ that seeks to get gamers together to watch & interact with some of the top gaming industry creators.

It’s available on the YouTube Gaming app as well as on the YouTube Site & on the top creator’s YouTube channels.
