Startups: The Vator Splash is a 1 day event, a “learning fest” in Los Angeles, USA, to be attended by at least 30 entrepreneurs & investors. Here’s a platform for pre-seed & seed-stage startups to apply for an opportunity to get in front of top-notch VCs, angels & corporate investors, & also high-tech influencers.
The top 8 startups from this Online competition will get to go to the event for free & present on stage at Splash LA on October 15.
An overall winner will be crowned & chosen by a selection committee on that day.
The winner gets one-hour individual sit-down meetings with at least 10 top-notch VCs, including Arena Ventures, Baroda Ventures, Javelin Venture Partners, Karlin Ventures, Mucker Capital, Upfront Ventures, Wavemaker Partners, among others. Plus, the winner receives in-kind prizes worth around $40k, including an two-hour consultation with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and KPMG, $24k in annual services, courtesy Rackspace, a bottle of Bread & Butter wine; a Misfit Bolt; complimentary services, courtesy Scrubbed & Stratpoint.
The deadline for applications is September 1.
To be a finalist, entrants have to apply to this competition, & go through several rounds. To qualify for the competition, your startup must be under three years old and with no more than US $2 million raised in outside capital.
Even if you don’t make the top 8, all entering competitors receive one 50% discount ticket off a general admission ticket, just for applying, said Vator.tv.
