‘Sparkle’ is yet another player in an already crowded field of Web design apps that promises to help the average Joe build a complete Website in hours, rather than the usual days or weeks needed with traditional methods. This app for Mac stands out from the competition in its ease of use with its excellent layout engine & in its ability to create a coherent Site-wide look & feel.
Unlike many design apps, Sparkle doesn’t require you to stick to a rigid template or to extensively customize your design with code either. It strikes a good balance between these 2 common ways other apps have of leading you along. It gives you quite a lot of creative leeway without burdening the user with a big initial learning curve.

It has advanced features, like the ability to support mobile devices with phone & Tablet-specific layouts, & you can ‘live’ preview for these different devices as you edit. It also features privacy & cookie law support & asset generation, producing cutting edge code across a broad spectrum of browsers. You can quickly publish to any Web host with its built-in incremental FTP.
Of course, it’s a native Mac OS X app, optimized for El Capitan, integrating easily & familiarly with other apps on your desktop. & with the Pro version, you also get to publish to an unlimited number of Websites & an unlimited number of pages in each Site, & export your creations to disk.

You can get a limited use free version on the Apple App store here, but if you want to license the full-featured Pro version, you need to go to the ‘Sparkle Store’, here, where you can get a license for 1 or more personally owned Mac.
