Access curated resources created by VC & Angels at ‘Venture Reads’ – #Startup

vc fundingAll of us are aware of how difficult it can be for startups that try to obtain funding to get access to reliable, quality info. ‘Venture Reads’ is a tool that gives you access to a curated list of the best resources created by VCs & funding angels.

Venture Reads is organized in such a way that a number of authoritative VC-related links is broken down by category & presented in a sort of directory format. By far, the largest number falls under the umbrella of “Perspectives”, where articles from reputed sites like Acces Insights, Kima Ventures, LHV, Otium Capital, RRE Blog… are presented.

These articles talk about topics of interest like ‘Lessons hard learnt about the startup design process’, ‘The 5 step framework for gaining traction’, ‘Advice on raising venture capital funding from outside Silicon Valley‘, ‘How startups should think about marketing’, ‘How to Decrease the Odds That Your Startup Fails’ & a whole lot more stuff along those lines.

A number of interesting newsletters are linked in another section that provides access to such gems as ‘Social Capital Snippets’ or ‘Inside Venture Capital’. This is followed by a podcast section with not-to-be-missed periodical audio programs like ‘This week in startups’ & ‘The 20 twenty minute VC.

Following in the way of the podcasts is more multimedia Content in the YouTube channels section, with such influential video Content as ‘Greylock Partners’, ‘First round capital’, ‘500 startups’, Y combinator’ & ‘Upfront ventures’.

Finally, a collection of presentations & other difficult to categorize resources is presented under the Misc. section, with things like ‘Venture Hacks by AngelList’ or ‘Spark Capital Sessions’.

Venture Reads is the work of a young Minneapolis, USA-based entrepreneur, blogger & software developer Nihil Vimal.
