A fun way to build Sites & apps – #Startups

website development

Websites are an essential part of any business today. In fact, some businesses are run wholly from behind a personal computer screen. Examples include e-commerce Sites & blogs. Even when that is not the case a lot of people look for information about a business on the Internet. Having a Website is almost a given these days.

Additionally, apps are becoming more & more mainstream by the day. This is because the majority of mobile phone users have smartphones. As a result, it would be quite an effective way to reach the masses. It’s also a source of revenue on its own given various ad campaigns & pricing models.

Getting any of the above is, however, an expensive procedure that takes a relatively long time. Sheetbase is a Web app looking to make it easier for people to build Websites & apps. In order to get started the user is required to download the Sheetbase CLI from a provided link. This will help the app gain access to the user’s Google account which in turn helps to automatically set up drive files.

After doing that one can now start building their project. There are 3 main themes to choose from. These include mini shop ionic, simple blog ionic & starter ionic. Since these themes are available in Angular/Ionic it is quite easy for one to either build a Website or an app with them. There are also some extra instructions if one needs help with any step in the process.

For the uninitiated, the Sheetbase Website has some technical jargon & coding language. This makes it so that a user has to at least have some basic programming knowledge in order to effectively use the Site. Also, the platform is available in the English language. However, it would seem that the team responsible are not that well versed in the language. This might provide some extra hurdles in the use of the platform.

Sheetbase is free to use but one can decide to support the initiative by choosing one of the 2 pricing models. One of the people involved in creating Sheetbase seems to be a Vietnamese native by the name Lam Nhan. According to his facebook profile he lives in Ho Chi Minh City.
