But fret not. We bring you 5 popular Instagram apps that you can use to promote your images, give them a vintage look, or even send them off as pretty holiday postcards. These 5 apps will enrich your Instagram experience & take it to another level. Trust us, these are the best – not in any particular order, though.

♣Schedule your Instagram posts with Latergramme. The app is an easy & convenient way to schedule & manage your Instagram posts.

Developed during a hackathon in early 2014, Latergramme was created in response to a recognized need for a simple, effective & easy to use tool to help manage & schedule images on social media.

The Latergramme for Instagram web & iPhone apps launched in early 2014, while the Android version came out in early 2015. It was founded by Ian MacKinnon, Matt Smith, Cindy Chen & Roger Patterson in Vancouver, Canada.  Today, Latergramme claims to have more than 400,000 global users.

♣Photo Grid is another helpful app, if you cannot decide on 1 picture & want to upload a collage of photos instead.

You can import images from your device’s internal storage & also from Cloud drives, Facebook, Dropbox & others. Once you have selected a maximum of 15 images, you an access an assortment of grid templates to automatically display pictures in a variety of collage orientations.

Zoom, rotate & resize the pictures as per your liking. If you can’t decide use the randomizer function that can be accessed by shaking your smartphone.

Photo Grid is really awesome at creating slideshows too. Use as many as 50 photos & also get an option to insert a music track in it. It also has controls that let you choose transition effects like Pop, Flop, Flick, & Dissolve.

♣moreBeaute2 is a free photo editing app for iOS devices. As the name suggests, it will beautify your image helping you get rid of that blemish or the wrinkle to make you look flawless. It brightens, lightens your skin tone & smoothens your skin in just 2 easy steps.

♣Another iOS only app is Color Splash. It works its magic by letting you give your photos a dramatic look, without too much of an effort. You can choose to convert your photos into black & white, while keeping your chosen details in color.

You simply use your finger as a brush to remove or bring back the original color from regions of your image. Using a 2 finger pinching gesture you can quickly zoom in & out in order to work on fine details or larger areas.

Color Splash is a product by Pocket Pixels Inc, founded in Vancouver, Canada in 2008 by Hendrik Kueck, a PhD student with an interest in photography.

♣In this last but not the least app, you will find a cool mix of editing, collage & designer apps. Rightly named BeFunky, this app lets you add speech bubbles, graphics, arty effects, photo frames, stickers & what not.

Hell, you don’t even need to register to get started. We know you will have to eventually register, but you can still explore all you want without logging in. There are no watermarks & no ads in this free app. It does prompt you to share your pictures on social media, but does not keep at it & just leaves you alone (Grin).
