1st social media keyboard?

It’s an app that adds a keyboard for the iOS platform that quickly formats images for Facebook, Twitter & other popular social media feeds. Called ‘Air’, users can crop, letterbox & place a text-over message on photos producing engaging Content to share on social networks without leaving the target app.

Nathan Oshidari & Troy Spracklin, are the creators of the app at Bubbl Tech Inc, a company that is located in both Vancouver, Canada & Santa Monica, California,USA. As they have explained on their Website:

“Every social platform is different…  Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and let’s not forget about LinkedIn. All these great spaces have incredibly different user experiences. We had to find a better way to create content, we needed a faster way to tag and mention across all social platforms. The funny thing was, the keyboard was right there in front of us the whole time.”

airscreenshotAir makes it easy to hashtag @mention friends on Instagram & Twitter, & the annotation of images & posting is easily done right from the keyboard. The app takes into account the idiosyncrasies of the different social platforms while unifying in one keyboard all of the functionality that is needed, making it present in all the social apps.

By allowing the Air keyboard to be used from all of these apps, it will recognize all your friends, followers & contacts so that it will be easy to tag or mention them. Hashtagging on Twitter & Instagram can be a time waster, but very important in order to spread your social content, but the keyboard allows for easy insertion of common tags. It also lets you compose messages that are longer than Twitter’s hard-coded 140 character limit by converting your text to an image & posting it on Twitter.

For now, the app is only available for iOS 9.0 or later & it’s free. It’s a little tricky to get it going, as you 1st need to install the app, find the keyboard section of settings where you have to enable the new keyboard, then in Twitter or any app that uses the keyboard you need to tap & hold the globe icon & select the new keyboard.
