China's own Linkedin

By: Ask Bob, July 6, 2012

What caught the attention of our Web Spiddies (human editors) was that Ushi was started by 100 businessmen. Ushi is China's answer to Linkedin, localizing the concept to suit the needs in China.

This Shanghai-based Startup, like I said before, was founded by 100 charter members who are successful business leaders in China, including partners of the most famous VC firms, investment banks, law & accounting firms, so also CEOs of advertising agencies, luxury brands & leading companies in the Internet, mobile, renewable energy, travel & other sectors. One of the stated aims of Ushi is to be China's top platform for business networking, & opening up the highest quality opportunities for members.

Incidentally, Ushi means 'outstanding professionals' in Chinese, with a double meaning of 'competitive advantage'.
