Rarely do we come across Startups that make no bones of claiming to draw inspiration from others. Then, there's Pingram.me.
This Startup's creator Gennaro Varriale says in the 'About' section that Pingram.me is a week-end project. Gennaro, himself is a Web developer & Blogger, describes his newborn as a "mashup between Instagram & Pinterest." Both are pretty popular Social Media sharing services.
Pingram.me is Free to use. When you register and login for the 1st time, you are given what is dubbed as a 'Vanity URL' where you can post as many photos as you feel like posting per day. So, for example, if you are dining out at an Italian restaurant, you can update your friends with photos of that delicious spaghetti. So, there's a cross between the tool that Instagram provides with the crisp design of Pinterest.
Pingram.me seems to have already attracted quite a crowd, evident from its section called Pingrammers. Like in of course, Instagram & Pinterest, users can leave behind their comments & 'Like' photos they love.
