Meet fellow geeks at Geeklist
By: Sorab Ghaswalla, Aug 11, 2012
There are more & more community based networks being born every day. Take Geeklist or Geekli.st for example. This is a Site that claims to be of geeks & by geeks.
This Startup born mid-2011, is an Online meeting point for all those who are techies, developers, coders.....you know...geeks. Geeklist offers not just a place to meetup & chat but also an opportunity for geeks to crow about their achievements. Communities included here are PHP developers, Javascript, Ruby on Rails, HTML 5, Twitter, Photoshop experts & so on.
Geeklist
is based in San Francisco, USA, & claims to provide the global
developers community a place to get credit where credit is due. A place
to share their resources and links with each other, get High Fived (or
^5 in Geeklist terms), earn GeekCred™, build their own connections &
join in Geek communities, all in a completely integrated social manner.
You can log in using any of your Social Network accounts. Once you do, you can post your boast here. You can, for example, say; I developed the code for the back-end operations for X brand...
Incidentally, Geeklist is also for companies which can boast of the achievements of their tech teams.
You can follow fellow geeks to keep track of what they are doing like any other regular Social Network. Geeklist was co-founded by Christian Sanz, coder & former member of many a Startup, & entrepreneur Reuben Katz.
