Clik turns your Smartphone into a remote control
By: Amy on Apps, Feb 17, 2012
The entry of Apps has allowed our cellphones to be used as instruments for calculating, writing, texting, surfing, etc, etc, etc. Now, there's an App launched yesterday called Clik, based in Canada, that claims to turn your Smartphone into a remote control for Browser-based screens, i.e. all screens which are connected to the Web.
HERE'S HOW WORKS:
Step 1: Download the App from the iTunes Store or Android Market onto your phone & follow the instructions on how to connect your phone screen to any screen with a Browser.
Step 2: Go to www.clikthis.com on your Browser screen & use your Smartphone to scan the QR code you see there. This will synch the phone & the screen using the Smartphone's cellular or WiFi connection). It's done.
How can you use this App? Lets say you are hanging out with a bunch of friends. You want to show off some videos. Rather than gather around your tiny Smartphone screen, you simply scan your iPhone or Android across the TV and show it off on the larger screen. You may even use Clik in the multi-player mode.
This App is Free.
